Basta

Skunk band created in 1982 near Florence. In 1983 they were the organizers of Certaldo Oi! festival, where for the first time in Italy, there were some fights between nazis and apolitical skinheads. They released an EP "Non posso sopportare questa sporca situazione" (1984) on C.A.S. Records and one of the song from the 7" was included on "Quelli che urlano ancora". They splitted up in 1985 to reform again around 2011.

Plastic Sugery

One of the most famous italian oi! bands outside of Italy, P.S. were born as a punk band in 1981 in Verona. They played some left-wing/anarchist gigs around north Italy with other punk bands like Wretched, Eu's Arse, Impact. Their first release is, in fact, a live split tape with Urban Sprawl "Dal vivo - 19 Giugno 1982 - Anche Verona guarda e risponde" (1982), followed by another tape "Live in Torviscova, Udine, 2 ottobre 1982" (1982) together with other punx band. After the splitting up of Rommel Skins (probably the first proper nazi band in Italy), some of them entered in Plastic Surgery who were already heading on a more oi! sound. With this formation they released the 7" "Rivolta" (1986). After splitting up they went playing on different R.A.C. bands like 1903 and Peggior Amico.

Shockin' T.V.

Born in 1982 in Milan, they were a punk band who used to play at oi! gigs together with proper skinhead bands. They released a 7" split with Tiratura Limitata titled "Milano 1983" (1983) with a punk/hardcore sound and then another 7" "Fuori dal branco" (1986) on a more punk/rock n roll vibe. Their weight in the oi! scene, despite they were not an oi! band, is underlined also by the fact that they are on the bootleg compilation "Bootprints across Italy" (1999) together with Nabat, Plastic Surgery and Rough.

Boito Kids

Band from Parma that played a very rough kind of oi! in the first half of the 80's. They released a demotape in 1983 who was re-released in the same year under the title "Parma skinhead glory". Some of them used to play also in Donald Duck's Skins.

F.U.N.

Born in 1981 in Rome as a punk/oi! band with ska hints, they moved with time to full-time ska and reggae, until their split up in 1986. No official releases during these years (some bootleg tapes) but just four songs on "O con noi o contro di noi" (1985) and one on "Quelli che urlano ancora..." (1985). They reformed around 2012 and released a CD with their whole discography all re-recorded.

Rip Off

Historical band from Bologna born around 1981 and disbanded in 1984. They were close friends of Nabat and in fact they shared their first release: a split tape with them (1982). After 1983 they came out as a right wing band and the next year they released their second and last tape "Tricolore!" (1984). After splitting up some of them went to play in different bands such as Wretched, Youth and Reazione.
